Royal Plus Launches Intensive Phase 1 “Waste-to-Art” Workshop, Empowering Communities and Creating Careers with Compassion

Royal Plus Public Company Limited (PLUS) continues to advance Phase 1 of the “Community-Based Learning Promotion Project – Waste to Art,” delivering deep-skill vocational workshops in collaboration with five key partner organizations. The initiative is designed to improve the quality of life for children with special needs and vulnerable families through practical learning and career pathways rooted in the local ecosystem.
Mr. Phonsaeng Saebe, Managing Director of Royal Plus Public Company Limited, stated: “The heart of Phase 1 is taking real action. We do more than provide funding or transfer knowledge—we focus on designing vocational training processes that fit the community context. Our priority is co-creating community products from waste materials and integrating local herbs into community-led value chains, enabling families to generate practical household income and meaningful Micro-SME opportunities.”
Phase 1 activities focus on vulnerable households in the Phraek Nam Daeng community, covering vocational training, product design, and the development of small community enterprises (Micro-SMEs). PLUS also supports knowledge exchange among the community, academia, and the private sector to co-build self-sustaining, community-driven innovation. The project is grounded in Circular Economy principles, aiming to maximize local resources, reduce external dependency, and minimize waste, while promoting the practical application of academic and private-sector knowledge at the community level.
The initiative is carried out through collaboration with six strategic partners: the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), Royal Plus Public Company Limited, Kaomai Plamun Amphawa Co., Ltd., Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus, and the Local Research Coordination Center of Samut Songkhram Province. Together, the partners are developing a learning model that reflects genuine alignment with local conditions and needs.
Mr. Phonsaeng Saebe concluded: “Royal Plus believes that education and career development must progress in parallel. We remain committed to expanding this project across additional communities, creating long-term opportunities for children with special needs and vulnerable households to build better lives through their own capabilities.”
